SZINTEZIS自由大学のシャーマン・ドラム・チームから独立する形で2000年3月21日に結成された清帰途太鼓は、ハンガリー最初の和太鼓グループです。
過去5年間に多少のメンバーの入替わりを経ながらも、毎年数回の定期公演(イベント)を持つほかに、ハンガリー各地から招聘されて演奏活動を続けています。これまでにハンガリー公共放送MTVなどでも紹介されました。
「清帰途」という名はハンガリー語の「KIOKITO（自己鍛練）」という単語の音に漢字を当てたものですが「清潔または無垢への帰途」転じて「純粋無垢な音への回帰」という意味を込めています。
2004年10月より初めて日本人のメンバーが加入しました。2005年3月現在の正式メンバーは17人です。

KENNY ENDO TAIKO ENSEMBLE features Kenny Endo on odaiko and taiko set in collaboration with the 17 string bass koto, yokobue, vibraphones, taiko, and Latin & world percussion. Endo leads three ensembles based in Honolulu, US mainland and Tokyo. With his background in jazz and world percussion, Endo creates music on the cutting edge.
TAIKO CENTER of the PACIFIC is a school and performing group of the same name. The school of traditional and contemporary taiko is based in Honolulu and led by taiko master, Kenny Endo. Two performing groups yield from the school including a youth group (ages 6-14) and an adult group.
